Launch of the pilot year of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Slovakia

On Tuesday, December 8th, we officially opened the pilot year of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Slovakia with the British Ambassador, directors and representatives from the organisations involved, partners, current participants, few alumni and friends of the Award in Slovakia. Together we celebrated the the first achievements since the Launch of the pilot year in October 2015. During this short period of time, 10 organisations took part in the Award (12 including the existing 2 organisations), we trained 33 volunteers and thanks to their help so far 110 young people participate in the Award in Slovakia (180 with the existing organisations).
